We attended Sell-a-Bration® 2010 along with nearly 500 of the nation’s top residential real estate specialists. The Council of Residential Specialist’s annual three-day education and networking event for residential REALTORS® was held at the Paris Las Vegas Hotel in Las Vegas, July 19-21, 2010.

Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) - The Council of Residential Specialists is a not-for-profit affiliate of the National Association of REALTORS® comprised of more than 36,000 members. It awards the CRS Designation to experienced REALTORS® who have completed a rigorous course of advanced professional training and demonstrated outstanding professional achievement in residential real estate. Just 5% of all REALTORS® in the United States have this degree.

Team Karen & Debbie Earn Prestigious Designation to Help Homeowners in Danger of Foreclosure

February 5, 2010 - Team Karen & Debbie of Prudential California Realty earned the prestigious Certified Distressed Property Expert (CDPE) designation, having completed extensive training in foreclosure avoidance and short sales. This is invaluable expertise to offer at a time when the area is ravaged by “distressed” homes in the foreclosure process. Short sales allow the cash-strapped seller to repay the mortgage at the price that the home sells for, even though it is lower than what is owed on the property. With plummeting property values, this can save many people from foreclosure and even bankruptcy.
